Big cane toad was found in Australia

The amphibian, which weighs 2.7kg, bowled over rangers who stumbled throughout it on the Conway countrywide Park in North Queensland.

Queensland branch of environment and technological know-how stated rangers had been clearing a path when they spotted the toad.

Ranger Kylee grey stated her team were "blown away" by the "monster" cane toad which weighed 2.7kg and is assumed to be female.

She instructed the Australian Broadcasting Corp it changed into by way of a long way the largest toad she had encountered and said it regarded "nearly like a soccer with legs".

"We weighed it whilst we got returned to base late that afternoon and we were given her at 2.7 kilos which just stunned us, honestly blew us away," she stated.

"We measured her, we were given I think 255mm, however I believe the Queensland Museum may be doing their measurements once they receive her."

The Guinness global document for the biggest toad in history is 2.65kg - set by means of a puppy toad in Sweden in 1991.
