A fitness chief has warned skilled nurses are leaving the NHS in "droves" with personnel being "run ragged".
The President of the Royal college of Emergency medication Adrian Boyle told MPs on Tuesday he become worried "burn out will result in burn away" with present group of workers overwhelmed.
Pressed on the health and Social Care Committee on whether he's involved approximately staff retention, he warned: "i am involved burn out will lead to burn away".
He warned MPs: "What i am additionally seeing is a lot of nurses, especially the skilled nurses... who know how to get matters carried out are leaving in droves.
"Everytime i'm going into work i'm seeing nurses [say] 'should you signal this leaving card'.
"we are haemorrhaging experienced emergency nurses because they discover it very frustrating".
Dr Boyle stated a few nurses sense "crushed" and that "their registration is at chance as it feels so risky, they may be finding it extraordinarily hard".
"I suppose personnel morale is a huge subject for us at the moment".
